Our Model Railway has officially been named as Yorkton by Luke Thomas and Nic Thomas, our railway modellers and specialists, who have headed the LRD's project. Our Assistant Specialist also proclaimed that our Model Railway shall have a few similar resemblances to York Station, particularly with their distinguished, large bend. In addition, Nic and Luke mentioned that the layout would include several scenic features as well as a large variety of locomotives/rolling stock from different eras and types. The most notable developments are that the second main track has been set and tested, the viaduct and tunnel have been set in place and the Hornby BR Standard Class 9F has made its first appearance!
