LRD Visit GWSR 1940s Day

It was a big weekend on the GWSR when we went back in time to the 1940s. Specialist Luke Thomas went as a RAF Private and a long with the usual fleet of locomotives there was military transports, lots of soldiers lots of women in 1940s dresses and even a rebuild Spitfire. Laurel & Hardy made an appearance soldiers in a camp were drilling. A very good day!
