LRD attend GCR's Goods Galore Gala

Specialist Luke Thomas & his trusty Canon along with Assistant Specialist Nic Thomas were in Loughborough on 11/05/2019 for this great day out. Among the locomotives were: BR Std 9F 92214 'Leicester City', two 8Fs 48305 & 48624, Std Class 5 73156, Ivatt Class 2 46521, Std 2MT 78018, 47406 Fowler 3F "Jinty" & 6990 "Witherslack Hall". These beauties spent the day hauling passenger, parcels trains, mixed goods & windcutters or standing on display. LRD spent seven hours on the railway including the 14:30 non-stop express from Loughborough to Leicester North recreation.
