Thomas Creator Remembered

It was 108 years ago today that Thomas the tank Engine creator Rev W Awdry was born. His cheeky little tank engine and all his friends on Sodor have brought pleasure to millions throughout the world. LRD Specialist Luke Thomas himself became interested in railways after seeing Thomas as a small child on the Dean Forest Railway. Millions of railway enthusiasts owe a lot to this unsung hero.
