Yorkton was alive with era 5 steam today! 60103 Flying Scotsman, resplendent in BR Brunswick Green and ferret and dartboard BR logo raced across the viaduct pulling four blood and custard coaches. Meanwhile, the 9F no. 92156 was at the relief line at Yorkton station hauling a windcutter. Also passing though was 70013 Oliver Cromwell hauling the Fifteen Guinea Special (which Luke & Nic went on last August) and 71000 Duke of Glouester was on Platform 2 with a rake of Pullmans. Specialist Luke Thomas is in the middle of deciding which era to do next.
